Local, independent guidance for families facing difficult care decisions.
At Wellborn Senior Solutions, our mission is to provide local guidance that helps seniors and families navigate care decisions with confidence and peace of mind during some of life’s most difficult transitions.

The Initial Consultation: Your Starting Point
The consultation includes a comprehensive intake, safety and risk review, and discussion of care options, expectations, and advance planning considerations. Offered at no cost, this initial consultation helps families understand what support may be appropriate now and in the future, while navigating complex family dynamics during times of change.

Thoughtful planning reduces stress when care needs change.
We review existing estate planning and advance directive documents on a non-legal basis, identify gaps or outdated information, and help families understand next steps—providing clarity and coordination before a crisis occurs.

We help families understand insurance coverage and benefits, identify gaps, and see how current resources support care needs. When additional guidance is needed, we help connect families with trusted professionals.

We support families as care needs evolve by reviewing situations, advising on options, navigating next steps, and coordinating services. Support may include guidance around in-home care, home health, hospice, and preparation for care transitions, so families don’t feel alone or overwhelmed during times of change.

When a higher level of care is needed, we help families understand placement options and prepare for care transitions. This includes guidance in choosing appropriate assisted living, respite care, or post-hospital rehabilitation settings, based on medical needs, safety, and realistic expectations, so decisions are informed and transitions are smoother.

Founder of Wellborn Senior Solutions. My approach to senior care is both professional and grounded in decades of hands-on experience supporting senior adults and families here in Pensacola and the surrounding Gulf Coast communities.
My career has been shaped by working directly within the systems families often struggle to navigate. I served in the United States Marine Corps and later earned a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Troy University. That path led me to Adult Protective Services, where I spent more than a decade investigating abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable adults—often guiding families through complex, high-stakes situations involving safety, capacity, and care decisions.
I later transitioned into skilled nursing facility social services, serving as a Social Services Director and working closely with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care teams on planning, care transitions, and long-term support decisions.
In addition to my professional experience, I’ve navigated this process personally—guiding my own mother from planning through placement. That perspective informs how I work with families today.
Through Wellborn Senior Solutions, I provide trusted, local guidance to help families understand their options and move forward with clarity and confidence.

My work is grounded in direct, hands-on experience supporting senior adults and families through complex, high-stakes care decisions. I’ve spent decades working inside the systems families often find overwhelming, giving me a practical understanding of aging, safety, and care transitions.
I began my career in Adult Protective Services, where I spent more than ten years investigating abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable adults. That work required careful assessment of safety, capacity, and risk—often during moments of crisis—and sharpened my ability to identify concerns, navigate difficult family dynamics, and advocate effectively when decisions mattered most.
I later served as a Social Services Director in skilled nursing facilities, working closely with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care teams on admissions, care planning, and transitions. In that role, I helped families understand realistic care options and next steps, particularly when higher levels of care became necessary.
Today, my focus is care navigation—helping families make informed decisions while balancing safety, independence, dignity, and family dynamics. This includes comprehensive assessments, written care planning, and guidance through transitions as needs evolve.
I also provide non-legal, non-insurance guidance related to advance planning and benefits, including reviewing existing documents, identifying gaps, and explaining how coverage may impact care options. When appropriate, I help connect families with trusted local professionals.
When situations require additional clinical insight—such as in-home assessments or changes in medical complexity—I collaborate with a registered nurse as part of my extended support network to help ensure care decisions are well-informed and appropriate.
My background includes service in the United States Marine Corps and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Troy University. Together, my education and experience allow me to approach each situation with structure, accountability, and respect for the human side of care.

When aging decisions become complicated or overwhelming, having an experienced, local guide can make all the difference. Wellborn Senior Solutions helps families understand their options, avoid rushed decisions, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
